WE HAVE A NEW ALPACA ON OUR FARM!  Newport Naturals Iris was born just before noon on July 12, 2003.  She is a medium fawn and is very active.  The picture shows her at about 90 minutes old.

Alpacas came to Newport Naturals at Spruce Corner in December of 1999 when Frankie and D.J. entered our family. They were joined by Avalanche Warning in April of 2001. Italiana and Incan Highlander arrived in October 2001. Frankie, D.J., Avalanche Warning, and Highlander are fiber producers. Italiana is a fiber producer and breeding stock. Her first cria (baby) was born July 12, 2003.  See pictures above.  All seven are huacayas.
