Iris have been an important plant in our gardens since we first gardened in 1962.
Since we have been in Newport, we have added many varieties of Iris to our collection.
Originally, we started with all bearded Iris, but we now grow many types of Iris.

We are members of the American Iris Society, the Historic Iris Preservation Society, The Tall Bearded Iris
Society, Region 13 (Washington) of the American Iris Society, The Society for Siberian Iris, The Median Iris
Society, the Dwarf Iris Society, and Town and Country Iris Society and Inland Empire Iris Society, both in Spokane. Robert is the President and Linda is the Secretary of the Town and Country Iris Society.  Robert is the Northwest Representative (AIS Regions 13 and 14) for the Historic Iris Preservation Society.
We also belong a number of Iris-related list serves and communicate with Iris lovers worldwide.
