OUR PLANS WERE THAT OUR IRIS GARDEN WOULD OPEN MAY 11, 2008 AND BE OPEN 10 AM - 6 PM FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, AND SUNDAYS THROUGH JUNE 15. ALSO OPEN MEMORIAL DAY MONDAY. BUT SINCE WE DO NOT HAVE ANY BLOOM OR EVEN ANY BUDS AS OF FRIDAY, MAY 9, WE WILL BE OPEN, BUT THERE WILL NOT BE FLOWERS FOR PROBABLY ANOTHER 10 DAYS. PLEASE CALL OR CHECK HERE DAILY FOR BLOOM UPDATE MAY 10 NO BLOOM, NO STALKS TELEPHONE AND MAIL ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 1 AND UNTIL JULY 1, 2008 PLEIN AIR FESTIVAL OF ARTS JUNE 6, 7, 8 paint in the iris gardens at no cost; also for-fee classes in watercolors and oils each day email us for more information CREATE'S 3rd Annual Rhubarb Festival, June 7, 2008, just 5 blocks from our farm. www.createarts.org for more information or email us IRIS SHOW IN SPOKANE Inland Empire Iris Society and Town and Country Iris Society Joint Iris Show, Saturday, June 7, approximately 11 AM to 5 PM, Mirabeau Hotel at I-90 and Sullivan, Spokane, WA. Email for Show book and information. Horticulture and Artistic Arrangements Wanted. You do not have to belong to an iris society to participate. Iris entered in the horticulture exhibit must be named iris. Artistic Arrangement Iris may be named iris or unknowns.
